The project will offer a range of non traditional physical activities including martial arts, yoga, golf and boxing. These will be targeted at specific groups of primary and secondary pupils from very rural schools (a third have less than 50 pupils), and also army garrison schools. The partnership will work with a variety of community organisations, notably the Army Welfare Service, to deliver activities that will engage beneficiaries, provide positive role models, and improve self esteem and confidence.
