Merthyr Tydfil CBC will construct a new, purpose-built sports hall, changing facilities, office, storage and plant room at Cyfarthfa High School. The aims of the project are to increase girls' participation in PE and sport, and community use and participation by people with disabilities. The project will help deliver activities such as Dragon Sport, football, netball, hockey, badminton, rugby, cricket, tennis, basketbal and health related fitness.The main beneficiaries will be 1,660 pupils at eight schools.
