Funding will be used to increase the teaching/dining area of the main building and to provide access and en suite facilities for people with disabilities within the 'Ernie's Cottage' facility. The project will enable larger groups to attend the centre and be more inclusive to pupils with special needs. Activities available at the centre include walking, climbing, caving, abseiling, canoeing and orienteering, benefiting 1500 school and 150 wider community users from Berkshire.
