This project aims to recruit community based volunteers in order to support disabled people of all ages to achieve their aspirations. With the help of the volunteers, Leonard Cheshire aims to create opportunities that will support service users to develop in confidence and enhance their skills. This will help them to integrate fully into community life, overcoming the social exclusion and isolation that will otherwise be faced by many.
