Home-Start Milton Keynes will work with expectant mothers who require additional support to avoid a crisis situation from developing. The women may be suffering deprivation, teenage pregnancy, history of post natal depression, family under stress or unable to cope. They will receive practical and emotional support and will be encouraged to attend medical appointments, establish relationships and to build community networks. There will also be a befriending service and health promotion sessions.
