The Committee will use a grant to fund a series of events designed to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of VE/VJ Day and bring together both British and Irish communities within the province. The central focus of the project will be a large-scale concert to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of VE Day, alongside a music hall show specifically aimed at the older elements of the community and a day of WW2 based activities for local children.
