Community Health And Activity Programme (CHAP) 10 Mar 2011
This project will use the grant aims to increase volunteering and participation through a series of programme of activities.
The Breakthru Project, part of Dungannon Development Association, will use the grant to run a pilot relapse prevention service for people who have been through government drug and alcohol treatment programmes and need further support to control their addiction. The project will also provide short term crisis intervention for people waiting to enter treatment programmes and have no other means of support, offering counselling, therapeutic support and therapies.
Researching Survivors and Victims Project (RSVP) 10 Mar 2011
The project will use the grant to provide a research study to establish the extent and needs of victims and survivors of the troubles in the local Dungannon area.

The football club will use the grant to run the Girls Allowed project which will offer activities, therapies and workshops to help the women and girls who play cope with the stress of daily life. Courses will cover stress management, healthy eating, suicide awareness, drug and alcohol awareness, advice on domestic abuse, and therapies such as aromatherapy and massage.

The group, based in Castledawson, will use the grant to run the Carefully Yours project which will offer a programme of activities to boost the self-esteem and confidence of people who have learning disabilities or are dealing with mental ill health in Magherafelt and Cookstown. There will be sessions on assertiveness, self-confidence, cultural identity and job seeking skills.
