St Colmcille's Primary School, Armagh - Hall Modernisation 13 May 2004
This grant will allow the school to transform a small indoor dining hall into a multi-use activity facility with sports flooring and disabled toilets/changing area which will be suitable for indoor PE activities. The project will allow staff to deliver new PE activities including dance, short-tennis and gymnastics and offer pupils after school activities in uni-hoc and soccer and provide the only community recreational facility in a rural area.

Hart Memorial Primary School - Multi Use Games Area 13 May 2004
The grant will allow the school to create a high quality multi-use games area for pupils. This will be suitable for use throughout the school year and will accomodate a variety of sports enabling all 339 pupils to participate, for the first time, in two hours of PE each week. The project will also benefit 3,000 people from other schools and the wider community.

Craigavon Watersports Centre 12 May 2005
The grant will be used to build a skate park at Craigavon Watersports Centre and a mobile climbing structure to provide up to 41 schools and 20 community groups with outdoor adventure activities, which they currently have no access to. Pupils as young as eight years will learn climbing skills during curricular and extra curricular hours without leaving their schools. Skateboarders will be able to develop a pathway towards sports such as snowboarding through access to various ramps in the park.

Clea PS, Keady - SELB Multi Use Games Area 15 Dec 2005
The grant will create a multi use games area at Clea Primary School, located in an isolated rural area of South Armagh. The project will ensure all pupils receive a minimum of 1.5 hours of PE per week and increase the range of recreational opportunities available to 70 pupils at Clea Primary School. The scheme will further benefit 100 other school users and 30 users from the local sports clubs by providing facilities for sports such as soccer, hurling, camogie and football.

W.E & L.B. Fermanagh Schools Renewable Energy Project 23 Jan 2006
The Project has been developed to demonstrate the use of wood as a fuel in the education sector in Northern Ireland. The project involves the installalation of 3 wood fired boiler systems to provide four schools with their heating and hot water requirements. The project will use approximately 1,300 tonnes of wood pellets each year, generating 90% of the school's heating and hot water demand. The schools will save £5,000 a year, the Board £8,000 and CO2 emissions will be reduced by 80% or 980 tonnes per year

South Down Community Business Focus 14 Aug 2012
The village of Ballyward, County Down will use the funding to remodel a community building, turning it into a base of operations for small businesses. They will renovate the upstairs into an office complex for rural sole-trader businesses and the kitchen facilities to enable a social enterprise catering firm to operate from the centre. This will generate income from rental payments made by the small businesses to sustain the facility and enable the setting up of new community enterprises.
