The group provides a social outlet for carers, parents and toddlers. The award will allow the group to provide training for volunteers, purchase equipment and toys and run group activities.
The committee is established to develop, promote and co-ordinate all twinning aspects of the area with other compatible areas. The project is a weekend festival celebrating local acheivement in an intergenerational and cultural setting.

The group provides educational classes on a weekly basis throughout the year as well as regular outings. The project will allow the group to run various adult learning classes.

The group promotes health in older people through the organisation of physical activity and education on health awareness. The project award will allow the group to hire the necessary venues to operate the club services.
This grant will allow the school to transform a small indoor dining hall into a multi-use activity facility with sports flooring and disabled toilets/changing area which will be suitable for indoor PE activities. The project will allow staff to deliver new PE activities including dance, short-tennis and gymnastics and offer pupils after school activities in uni-hoc and soccer and provide the only community recreational facility in a rural area.
The grant will allow the school to create a high quality multi-use games area for pupils. This will be suitable for use throughout the school year and will accomodate a variety of sports enabling all 339 pupils to participate, for the first time, in two hours of PE each week. The project will also benefit 3,000 people from other schools and the wider community.

The group provides services for ex-service men and women. The award will allow group members to participate in commemorative events and D-Day remembrance parade.
The scheme offers sports, leisure and educational opportunities for children aged 4-17 years. The award will allow the group to extend the range of activities they provide to include educational courses and sports, arts and crafts.
