Llandrindod Wells & Area Chamber of Trade & Tourism will use the grant to expand their cycle festival, increasing the number of attendees by providing entertainment and better facilities. This grant for Â£3,930 will fund promotional materials, an assault course, and Pedal Emporium equipment.
Building Blocks to Resilience 10 Mar 2017
The project will continue some of its existing activity with the addition of a new strand of funding focussed on the development of mental good health, an important need in the community. The group will deliver a preventative programme of support, guidance, awareness-raising and social activities. Sessions and events will also be offered to support people of all ages and backgrounds with learning difficulties, helping them to develop the motivation and confidence to be more productive and live better.

Rhiwhiriaeth Community Centre in Welshpool will use the grant to host a community event to celebrate their 50th anniversary and promote social cohesion in the rural community. This grant for Â£4,600 will part-fund marquee hire, table and chair hire, PA system hire, toilet and generator hire, exhibition and printing costs, artist fees, and insurance.
This is a project by a group based in Folkestone serving people in Middlesbrough and Welshpool. The organisation will use the funding to create new participatory singing groups in care homes and community centres in new areas of the country. This will enable the organisation to better tackle issues such as isolation and loneliness amongst older people.

The funding will be used by an academy to run a series of out-of-school and holiday activities for pupils and their siblings.
