Moyraverty 50 plus group 30 Jan 2017
The group, based in Moyraverty near Craigavon, provides a wide range of activities for people over the age of 50 to reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing. The three-year project is using a £33,030 grant to run activities to improve the health and wellbeing of its members, including day trips, tea dances, a walking group, and a Christmas dinner. They will also organise intergenerational residentials with young people from Brownlow Youth Project.
