Water & Sanitation devices for people with disabilities in rural Cambodia 31 Mar 2005

People with disabilities often have a greater need for appropriate water and sanitation facilities but are less able to have access to them due to higher levels of poverty, poorer education and mobility problems. This project will develop suitable sanitation and clean water facilities to meet the needs of 350 people with disabilities and their families in 8 villages in the isolated and underdeveloped Pursat province of Cambodia.

Pupils between the ages of 12 and 14 will give a written and/or oral presentation including artefacts where appropriate about their families' experiences of World War II. Community members will also be invited to the school to see an exhibition of the pupils trip to D Day beaches in Normandy.
