2nd Rye Guides provides a welcoming girl only space for girls and young women to have fun and develop skills. Funding was provided for a wooden building to securely store all their camping equipment.

This guide group will be able to take part in an Outward Bound course in Scotland including rock climbing, abseiling, problem solving, canoeing and camping. The course will build team working skills as well as promoting confidence and self esteem.
New Equipment 16 Feb 2006
1st Cliffe Woods Guides will be able to take more girls on camping trips with help from a Lottery award. A grant will pay for additional camping equipment and a trailer to transport and store all the equipment securely and safely. This will mean that more girls including older members of the Brownie group will be able to take part in the trips and develop camp craft and team working skills.
Purchase a marquee 30 Mar 2006
1st Bridge Guides will be able to buy a marquee with help from a Lottery award. The group doesn't have a tent big enough for large group activities when the weather is bad and the new marquee will provide adequate space for activities and mealtimes. It will also be able to buy folding tables for use during weekly art and craft sessions.
Theatre Trip 09 Dec 2005
The aim of this group is to provide opportunities for girls to gain confidence in their own abilities. This award will pay for the group to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Sunderland Empire. theatre tickets and hospitality

1st Bolton le Sands Guides 27 Feb 2007
This Girl Guide group will use an award to extend the range of activities it offers to its members by purchasing sports and games equipment, and by arranging performing arts sessions, involving activities such as circus skills, singing, street dance and scenery creation.
A project to extend opportunities for young girls to participate in physical activities and craft work at this Brownie Pack based in Streetly, Walsall. The grant will pay for a variety of equipment and craft materials, storage cupboards and boxes.
Furniture 04 May 2005
With the award the group will purchase much needed folding tables and storage cupboards. The tables that they are currently using are much too heavy and big and not easy to use. With the new furniture and storage the activities the young people take part in will be much safer and easier accessible. 4 36 x 27 folding tables, 2 48 x 27 folding tables, 1 small table trolley and 2 wall cupboards.
Residential and funday 20 Jul 2006
This Girl Guides group in Southwark will provide a weekend residential and a local fun day for brownies and girl guides from the Rotherhithe and Bermondsey area.
I Can Do 13 Oct 2006
This Brownie Group, from the Old Basford area of Nottingham, will use an award to take 24 members on a short break to London during October half-term. The aim of the trip is to allow the girls to complete the 'I Can Do' project, a special badge which can only be completed at Girl Guiding Headquarters in London. The group are celebrating their 70th anniversary this year and this special activity is part of an ongoing programme of special activities to mark the event.

2nd Liversedge Guides promote the education of girls and young women in Kirklees. They will use the award to purchase additional equipment to enable new members, who cannot currently participate due to a lack of resources, to attend local camps.
