Parents Together 22 Feb 2017

This project will offer an early intervention service to tackle the impact of poverty and disadvantage in families with children under the age of five through the use of a trusted volunteer who has been through similar experiences. They group will upskill new and existing volunteers to support families with issues such as accessing local services, to needing more intensive parenting support because, for example, they have mental health problems or a disability or are experiencing domestic violence.

Eastham Community Hub 30 Mar 2017

This funding will improve the Eastham Memorial Hall which is no longer able to meet the needs of the local community. The new facility will provide a modern meeting place which is fit for purpose, where people can socialise and host events and activities. Creative Communities 28 Mar 2017

This group will support people experiencing mental ill health, learning difficulties and physical difficulties through an Expressive Arts programme. The programme will be delivered in tandem with Integrated Mental Health/Adult/Youth Services who will provide accessible creative opportunities, confidence building workshops, and 1:1 practical and emotional support. Participants will also be able to develop and work in a community garden and sell/exhibit/perform at community events.
