The school will install all weather surfacing in the playground so children can access play activities throughout the year. This will encourage more active play and aid their development.
The school will purchase IT equipment so they can run after school clubs and sessions. This will help the school to reduce anti-social behaviour and address other issues.

The school will create a library and deliver a library club for children and their families. This will improve the reading and communication skills of children and engage parents in their childrenâ€™s learning.

The school will deliver outdoor and after school activities, including archery, boot camp, photography, fencing, and cookery. They will offer volunteering opportunities to parents to help run the sessions, provide children with accredited leadership awards, and encourage them to become more active and make healthy lifestyle choices.
Playground Project 25 Jan 2017
The school will develop their playground by installing an outdoor stage, sensory area and fitness equipment for pupils, families and local community groups. This will help aid the development of children and encourage them to become more active.
The school will offer counselling sessions and photography activities for vulnerable children and their parents. The creative activities will help families to express their thoughts and feelings and develop skills and coping strategies to help them overcome their problems and improve their emotional and mental wellbeing.
Making Memories 25 Jan 2017
The project will set up a dementia cafÃ© for local people who have been diagnosed with dementia and their live-in carers. The project will help couples to develop their communication skills, confidence and coping strategies, provide reminiscent and fun activities to improve their social wellbeing, and offer peer support and information and advice on additional dementia services.

The project will provide activities for 7-19 year olds during term time. This will help children and young people to develop emotional, social and communication skills and empower them to make decisions on the activities they take part in.

The school will install outdoor fitness equipment and all-weather flooring and offer pupils opportunities to help lead playtime and out of school club games so they can develop leadership skills. The new facilities and activities will encourage pupils and children in the community to become more physically active.

The school will develop a safe, natural, multisensory play setting with seating, water play items, nature tables and all weather surface. This will improve outdoor play facilities and activities to aid childrenâ€™s development and encourage them to become more active.
The funding will be used by a primary school to develop the outdoor play area and resources of the school, including purchasing role play and sensory equipment, a climbing frame, and raised beds for an after school gardening club. The project aims to improve the outdoor facilities of the school, and provide creative activities to aid the childrenâ€™s development and behaviour, encourage them to become more active and make healthy lifestyle choices.
Consett Junior Boot Camp 22 Feb 2017
The funding will be used by a primary school to install outdoor activity equipment with safety surfacing within their school grounds. The school will run a â€˜Boot Campâ€™ style after school club and fun play sessions to encourage children to become more active and improve their physical health.
The project will develop a coffee club for women with learning difficulties. This will provide a peer support network and activities that will help the women develop their skills and access new activities and services to improve their wellbeing.
