This group will use the funding to provide opportunities for black minority ethnic people, who suffer from Dementia, to meet every week to share old time memories. This will improve wellbeing and increase social interactions to develop new and lasting friendships.

This funding will be used to refurbish two community rooms and update kitchen facilities with a new water boiler in their church. This will provide modern facilities for use by the local community which will help prevent social isolation.

Passport to Wellbeing 04 Oct 2017
This project aims to improve the health and wellbeing of older people, particularly those from the African Caribbean community in Wolverhampton. The funding will help to recruit and train community health and wellbeing ambassadors and create a health and wellbeing toolkit. The ambassadors will work with participants on a one to one basis, finding out about their social care needs, levels of isolation and their eating and exercise patterns. Two group sessions will run each month on various topics.
Just Ramps, Re-vamp 07 Jun 2017
This group will use the funding to replace existing equipment, to provide improved facilities for use by young people. This will improve the facilities to provide a safe place for young people to socialise and build positive relationships with their peers.

This group will use the funding to bushcraft sessions for the local community, in particular children and families living with learning difficulties or a disability. This will improve their knowledge of nature and improve their mental health and wellbeing.

This charity will purchase new equipment to upgrade their popular radio service at New Cross Hospital. Volunteers visit patients engaging in conversations to choose their favourite music to go on air, so it is a valued way of reducing feelings of loneliness and building friendships.

This group will use the funding to carry out a feasibility and pilot project for a community cafe. This will provide people with mental health problems with a venue where they can socialise and obtain advice and support.
A series of sewing sessions will be funded for children and their parents. People will be able to spend time together and discuss their issues, encouraging family socialisation and development of their English language skills.
The Royal Wellbeing Initiative 18 Jan 2017
This school will use the funding to create a confidential online portal that will support the health needs of young people. This will equip the students with knowledge that will improve their mental health and wellbeing.
This group will use the funding to create two sculptures, made by people with experience of the issues around suicide, filming the creative process and displaying the finished work in a local public space. The project will help improve the participantsâ€™ health and wellbeing.
This group will use the funding to engage with young people who are involved in or at risk of anti-social behaviour. They will receive support and become involved in activities which improve their chances in life.
This group will use the funding to establish a new scout group for children and young people with severe and complex special needs. This will allow them to participate in activities to develop their confidence, independence, self-help and social skills.
This group will use the funding to provide social activities and trips for disabled sports fans and their carers. People will be able to take part in activities which benefit their health and wellbeing.
NEXT LEVEL Experience 18 Oct 2017
Work placements will be delivered for local young people seeking employment. This will give them work experience with local business owners, improving their opportunities after the project ends to find employment and giving them more confidence.
