Living Well 22 Mar 2017
The funding will be used to deliver performing arts and mentoring activities for older people with mental health problems. This will use the arts as a vehicle to enable older people to engage with and access positive social activities, improving their self-esteem and mental wellbeing.
A new play area will be created with the funding, for children who are experiencing the effects of physical inactivity and who live in an area that lacks safe outdoor play facilities. This will encourage the children to become more physically active and self-confident.
Coventry's Community Roots 22 Feb 2017
A festival will be held with this funding, which will celebrate the diversity of the community, providing a range of activities including health and wellbeing workshops, storytelling and poetry. This will bring together people from diverse cultures in planning and running events, strengthening community relations.
Heart of the Community 11 Jan 2017
This project will use the funding to update flooring and lighting in an old community building. The improvements will ensure that the facility meets current health and safety standards, allowing communities to continue to benefit from its use.
Lifepath Mentoring 22 Feb 2017
A pilot programme of mentoring activities will be delivered with the funding, supporting the needs of young people who are experiencing the effects of unemployment, social disadvantage and crime. This will improve community relations and encourage people to address the problems that they face.
Support will be provided for Sudanese settlers and refugees to enable them to integrate and socialise in their community. This will develop skills in communication, literacy and English, which will remove barriers to employment.
This group will use the funding to continue to deliver supplementary classes and recreational activities that are designed to support young people from the Bosnian community, improving their chances in life.
A co-ordinator will be hired to run a social enterprise aimed at creating employment opportunities to refugees and migrants. This will help participants reach their potential, by improving their employment prospects and independence.

Understanding Asylum and Immigration 30 Aug 2017
This group will use the funding to provide a community support service with training sessions for asylum seekers to aid their understanding of the asylum and immigration system in the UK. This will enable them to make more informed decisions and develop skills which will help with their social, health and wellbeing development.

The community space will be expanded and workshops will be held at the group’s café, giving local people the opportunity to take part in activities which benefit their mental health and reduce feelings of isolation.
Financial Capability+Inclusion Workshop 29 Nov 2017
This project will deliver financial capability workshops for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This will build confidence in managing finances and develop skills of volunteers supporting the sessions.
This group will use the funding to purchase new resources for its outdoor learning area. The space will support the development of school children in reception year, who are experiencing the effects of social and educational disadvantage.
CELEBRATE COMMUNITY INTERACTION 22 Feb 2017
A series of community based workshops will be provided with this funding. The workshops will help support community engagement and relationships, which will in turn reduce social isolation.

This group will use the funding to stage a finale event for their Festival of Lights. This will enable local people to take part in activities which encourage community engagement.
