Live Wise Teen Dating Violence Programs 25 Jan 2017
This project will provide preventative programs focusing on domestic violence in relation to teenage dating. This will improve the confidence of young women and allow them to plan their future and focus on reaching their full potential within school or college.
This cross-estate project is aimed at building peace between young people from two gang affected neighbourhoods. This will improve relationships and bring the community together in an area with high rates of violence and conflict.

The funding will be used to run a programme of workshops and activities that will support the needs of unemployed young parents. The project aims to equip those taking part with new skills that will create pathways to employment.
This funding will be used for a project that will support and assist victims of stalking across England. Specialist Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworkers will work with clients and risk assess each case to develop personalised safety plans. They will also work in partnership with other agencies including the police and the Crown Prosecution Service to keep victims and their children safe.

The project will support mothers leaving prison, helping them to rebuild relationships with their children, resettle into the community and reduce the risk of re-offending. The group will work with a number of women’s prisons and will provide tailored practical and emotional support three months before they leave prison. The support will focus on working with women on their individual goals and identifying training and education opportunities.
Scoping waged employment for people with disabilities in Uganda

This group will focus on helping youth groups in Lambeth and Southwark, to develop new skills for employment opportunities and directly addressing gang issues. The project will offer tailored development programmes for individuals, including confidence building, interview skills, timekeeping support and in-work mentoring, as well as more bespoke courses to meet particular needs of beneficiaries. The priority will be addressing the needs of the area’s unemployed young people.
