They received £108,891 for their Vision 2020 project and are using the money for staffing and programme costs so they can expand the activities and support they offer. These include social and recreational activities such as exercise sessions, cookery, gardening, art therapy, trips and relaxation classes. They are also using the money to give information to members and their families, and awareness raising.

The Life Change Changes Lives Project 19 Sep 2017

The Downpatrick based group is using an £83,792 grant for staff costs and delivery of a pop-up art project that provides therapy, counselling and crisis intervention for people with mental health difficulties, addictions and those who suffer from social isolation across County Down. The two year project is bringing people together and helping them to build their skills and improve their mental wellbeing.
