Vision 2020 26 Oct 2017
The Camlough based group supports survivors of all brain injuries, their families and carers. They received £108,891 for their Vision 2020 project and are using the money for staffing and programme costs so they can expand the activities and support they offer. These include social and recreational activities such as exercise sessions, cookery, gardening, art therapy, trips and relaxation classes. They are also using the money to give information to members and their families, and awareness raising.
The group, who are based in Newcastle, is a community choir for the south Down area who focus on reviving local folk songs. They are using the £6,820 grant to buy equipment and provide music tuition to help develop the choir further.

The Downpatrick based group is using an £83,792 grant for staff costs and delivery of a pop-up art project that provides therapy, counselling and crisis intervention for people with mental health difficulties, addictions and those who suffer from social isolation across County Down. The two year project is bringing people together and helping them to build their skills and improve their mental wellbeing.
