A dementia-friendly Lesbury is good for everyone 11 Jan 2017
The project will run a series of social activities for people of all ages from the community. They will provide volunteering opportunities, raise awareness of dementia, explore opportunities for cross generational learning and sharing, and reduce the isolation of older people.
Digital LifeBooks for people with dementia 18 Jan 2017
The project will deliver a pilot course for older people with early onset dementia from Northumberland. They will help participants develop IT skills and provide them with reminiscence activities so they can create multimedia journals of their life stories involving music, scrapbook, photos and creative writing. This will offer a peer support network, help reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing.
The funding will be used to run craft workshops across for women. The project aims to provide people with a support network and creative and social activities to take part in, allowing them to share their creations at craft fairs, and improve their confidence, skills and wellbeing.
Essential Beauty Academy (North East) Limited 01 Feb 2017
The project will work with Carers Northumberland to offer level 1 NVQ courses in simple beauty treatments to carers so they can enhance their personal care skills, and improve their confidence and employment opportunities.
St Cuthbert's Community Space 29 Nov 2017
The project will create a community space within their church hall. This will provide a meeting space for where local people can come together for community activities such as social, music and crafts groups. This will help reduce the risk of isolation among local families, older people and people with dementia.

The project will continue to fund a Community Engagement Tutor for their ‘Learning Hive’ in Ashington. The post will provide ICT training, budgeting and employment support to help vulnerable adults access services, develop their skills and confidence, and improve their volunteering and employment opportunities.

The project will purchase new office furnishings and pay for a mediator to help run a new victim offender mediation project. This will provide a safe environment in which victims of antisocial behaviour can engage in a mediated discussion with young offenders to improve their coping mechanisms and wellbeing. The project will contribute towards the rehabilitation of young offenders and help them become active members of the community.

The project will support those with learning and other disabilities through agricultural and land-based activities and develop their self-esteem and life- skills. The aim of the project is for service users to move towards independence and employment through the provision of training, employment and volunteering opportunities in a rural farming environment.

The project will provide after school singing sessions for children and outreach to community venues, including care homes, where adults and children can take part in sessions together. This will improve people's wellbeing and build positive links with the community.
The project will update and renew the audio/visual equipment of their village hall to improve the facilities and enable community groups to continue to access social and recreational activities and events.
TPP2 - One Stop 12 Apr 2017
The group will provide people facing financial hardship with access to food, clothing, household items, toys and services. Individuals will be taught how to cook on a budget and a hire service will be provided to allow young people to attend a prom - giving them the opportunity to have the same experiences as others their age. The group will also create a gallery for ex-offenders to display their art and make positive life choices.

The project will create a community garden in the village including memorabilia of the village's mining past, a wildflower area and seating. This will improve the environment and provide a space to bring the community together to socialise and for events.
