Rotherham Abuse Counselling Service (RACS) 27 Jan 2017
The group will provide high quality counselling services to those traumatised by sexual/domestic abuse/violence and childhood sexual exploitation. Support is available for women, men and young people living or working in Rotherham. As well as various types of counselling, the project will develop their outreach service by working with local agencies and provide group counselling sessions, giving individuals the choice to attend sessions they best engage with.

This project will work with young new migrants from eastern Europe to create a film documentary portraying their identity and experiences. This will dispel the myths and perceptions of migrants in the community, with the aim of developing community cohesion.
The funding will be used to run a free welfare rights and debt advice drop-in service. The project aims to provide people with advice and information, including help with benefit forms, avoidance of doorstep lenders and housing advice, in order to promote wellbeing and reduce isolation.

The funding will be used by an academy to run a series of adult and family activities, including card making, enterprise workshops and parenting skills for members of the school community. The project aims to allow families to participate in creative learning activities whilst discussing issues, in order to improve self-esteem, develop relationships and raise educational attainment.

The group will raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering animals, and educating people how to look after their pets, to help reduce animal abuse and neglect.
The group will commission a local ceramicist to design and create a mosaic for the park, alongside working with school children to create mosaics, culminating in a celebratory event at the park where the whole community will be encouraged to utilise the facility for events and activities.
The group will deliver a series of health based activities, to include healthy cooking and physical exercise, for older members of the community. This will encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and engage in physical activity, with the aim of reducing health inequalities in the area.
Enterprising STEM for SEN Futures 05 Apr 2017
The group will redesign their current programme, which will enable them to deliver breakfast club employment and enterprise workshops, for disabled and SEN pupils in the community. This will equip them with skills in teamwork, time keeping and organisation, with the aim of improving employment prospects in the future.
Forget Me Not Cafe 09 Aug 2017
The group will run drop in sessions and outings for people with dementia and their carers. This will provide those appropriate therapeutic activities, whilst carers can gain advice and information with regards to dementia, with the aim of reducing isolation and promoting wellbeing.

West Melton - Kids in the Community Project 15 Mar 2017
The school will deliver after school and holiday activities, to include gymnastics, African drumming, cooking and multi-sports. This will provide a safe place to participate in structured activities, with the aim of reducing childhood obesity.
This project is the creation of an outdoor play facility. This will encourage creative play experiences for children and the opportunity to increase social skills.
