This project will deliver a community day event, with information, advice and stalls from local charities, employers and organisations. This will provide a platform to celebrate the group's work, and highlight employment and training opportunities in the borough for unemployed residents of Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas.
'Hot Spots' - Menopause and Wellbeing Group 19 Apr 2017
The funding will be used to run support sessions for women experiencing or approaching the menopause that will allow them to share their experiences. The project aims to support people’s wellbeing through the provision of informative activities.

This project will use the funding to provide a series of leadership workshops for young girls to allow them to explore career choices, ideas of womens roles in the workplace, home life and society. This will raise aspirations, boost self-esteem, build confidence and encourage further education.
This is a project will provide leadership skills and resilience training for disadvantaged children and young people in the local area. This will provide people with positive activities and opportunities to increase their self-esteem and mental wellbeing.
Medico-Legal Project 06 Dec 2017
This project will deliver legal advice within medical centres. This will give people early access to legal advice, improving health and social outcomes by addressing issues at the earliest possible stage.
This group will develop their project, which supports homeless people lead an independent life away from poverty, addiction, isolation and ill-health. Activities will include workshops and training on literacy and numeracy skills, keeping and maintaining a tenancy, money and debt management and a digital skills to increase confidence with IT. Health and wellbeing issues will be addressed through conflict resolution, positive relationships, overcoming anger, team building, yoga and arts sessions.
Learn and Lead! 21 Jun 2017
This project will deliver a series of mentoring sessions for young people from the black and minority ethnic community who identify as being lesbian, gay, bi-sexual or transgender. This will create pathways to employment and challenge issues surrounding social disadvantage.

Ahaba cafe and community hub 26 Jun 2017
This is a development grant that will be used to fund professional fees and business plan costs. All Hallows will create a community hub and café by building an extension on their existing church building. The project aims to reach out to the local community, proactively bringing together people from different backgrounds in a spirit of friendship and neighbourliness. They will be able to combine services together and run a variety of initiatives that respond to local needs.
The funding will be used to provide a personalised coaching methodology to improve the skills, resilience and employment prospects of 600 single homeless people aged 25 and over who are experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD). Through targeted outreach and established referral routes, participants will access personalised progression pathways managed and supported by coaches and peer mentors.
