The Legion's hall is used for a variety of clubs and individuals. As part of an ongoing refurbishment project they will extend and develop the front hall to include disabled toilets and baby-changing facilities.
Media and communications workshops 17 Feb 2005
CSV Media is the arm of CSV which seeks to use media to empower and inform people to give different communities a voice. The project 'FIRST' will work with people who are disadvantaged in the labour market and have low levels of IT skills. It will run a series of workshops around the Ipswich area on the subject of interactive storytelling enabling people to share experiences and gain understanding.

This branch of the Royal British Legion will use their award to hold a reunion to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
The Royal British Legion North West Norfolk branch will use their award to hold a range of activities to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the end of the War. These activities will involve a street party, 1940s style Tea Dance, 1940s Big Band Dance, Parade and a Commemorative service.
The Norfolk County Branch of the Royal British Legion will use their award to hold a service to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two. A military parade will include members of the Armed Forces, ex-Service organisations with their standards as well as youth organisations. A reception will be held after the parade for all involved.
The Bedfordshire County Branch of the Royal British Legion will use their award to hold a celebration to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. A church service and parade will involve veteran and ex-service groups as well as cadet organisations. An exhibition of wartime life, educational material, and museum artefacts will also be on display.

The Ipswich Branch of the Royal British Legion have been awarded a grant to hold a commemorative event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two. A service and parade will be held which will be followed by a reception with a wartime film and memorabilia exhibition on display.

The Bedford Branch of the Royal British Legion will be staging two events to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the ending of World War Two. A church service will be held which will be followed be a reception for all veterans. The second event will be a parade, followed by a wartime memorabilia exhibition and display. Reunion corners will be set up so that Old Comrades can meet again. Entertainment with a 1940's style will also be provided.
Royal British Legion Rally 24 Jun 2005
The Sporle & District branch of the Royal British Legion will use a grant to organise a rally aimed at commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the end of WW2. There will be numerous veterans involved from other local branches so that the event is also partially a reunion of former comrades. Refreshments will be available, with music from a military band and a number of military vehicles being involved in the parade.
A project to commemorate the events leading to the end of WW2 with the provision of a weekend event including a street party, church service and parade for members of this group and the wider community based in Haddenham & Wilburton, East Cambridgeshire.
