This registered charity aims to provide education and support for volunteers. Their project will set up an environmental resource/lending library for the local community.
This new project will use the funding to support disabled people in Devon affected by welfare reforms. The project will address poverty and isolation by providing easier access to advice and information on benefits and budgeting through CAB services. The project aims to empower disabled people to make informed choices about their benefits and increase self-confidence, improve IT, financial management and employability skills.

The project will tackle loneliness and isolation for people with physical and/or mobility disabilities, living in and around Devon. The project will focus on those who experience a visual or hearing impairment, and those who are housebound due to mobility issues. As well as reducing loneliness, other benefits will include developing coping strategies, dealing with depression, boosting self-esteem, building confidence and acquiring new skills.

This will include a dig for victory venture, a wartime tea party, historical talks, and an exhibition. This branch of the Royal British Legion for women will organise a celebration day to mark eighty years of service. A parade will take place and an afternoon reception where current and ex-members can meet to reflect on the organisation's achievements.
The group will promote their work during the 2006 Poppy campaign by visiting market squares on market days across the county with a view on recruiting more volunteer to act as caseworkers.
This group based in Calne, Wiltshire, will train young people in drumming. Funding will enable them to provide musical instruments allowing members to take part in community events and develop their musical ability.
