Beyond Transitions 21 Jan 2017
Volunteering Matters will use the grant to support younger people with disabilities in Blaenau Gwent by providing them with skills and empowering them during the transition from education to further education, employment or training. This grant for Â£5,000 will fund volunteer expenses, mentor training, stationery and telephone costs, promotional materials, evaluation, and administration support.
Any grant will support veterans who need help with improving their lives at a difficult time or in challenging circumstances.

Merched y Wawr Rhanbarth Penfro in Pembrokeshire will use the grant to fund a day trip to their 50 Year Golden Celebrations followed by a visit to an historic attraction which will improve the lives of older people by increasing social interaction. This grant for £1,190 will fund transport, entrance fees and refreshments.

Merched y Wawr Cangen Chwilog, in Gwynedd, will take their members on a daytrip to learn about a local industry whilst also providing an opportunity to socialise. The grant, of Â£625, will fund transport costs, entrance fees, and meals.
Our aim is to provide financial and emotional support to local veterans and their dependants, being there for them in their time of need.

Project Summary : Merched y Wawr Cangen Capel Newydd in Boncath will use the grant to fund day trips to heritage attractions which will improve the lives of older people by increasing social interaction. What Money is for : This grant for £4,439 will fund transport, entrance fees and refreshments.
The organisation provides support for the Armed Forces community and their families. The project is using £10,000 to refurbish the toilet facilities in their hall so more people can take part in activities.

These will be shown at numerous community and national events over the course of the year. The grant, of Â£5,000, will fund display boards, publicity and marketing materials, professional photographs, transport costs, and craft materials.
