Creative Arts in Schools Team, Argyll and Bute Council: Through delivering a series of arts based workshops in our schools we will develop a learning environment that fosters communication through connection, respect and empowerment.

This group owns and operates a community-based cinema, an A-listed cultural hub Picture House. They will use the funding to acquire and install wireless facilities for hearing-impaired and sight-impaired cinema audiences. The venue is currently being restored and is due to re-open again in May/June 2017.
COMMUNITY SAFETY FIREWORK EVENT 2016 07 Sep 2016
The group work with members of the community in bringing them together and providing recreational events. The group will celebrate Bonfire night and organise a safe fireworks display for the people in the local area.
Cairndow Childcare and Community Facility 03 Feb 2017
To develop a new-build childcare facility and community resource centre at the brownfield Clachan Sawmill site at the head of Loch Fyne. The new facility will provide a dedicated and self-contained childcare facility with both indoor and outdoor space, a separate active play facility (both indoor and outdoor) and a community room for let.

The registered charity delivers recreational and learning activities for young people experiencing social exclusion and inequalities due to rural living. The project will fund a community event for people to celebrate Scotlandâ€™s athletes who competed in the 2016 Olympic Games.
This group will use the funding for a new Wayfarer Trainer dinghy.
New Hope in Oban 27 Sep 2016
The group will run a recovery cafÃ© which will support 225 people and 40 volunteers in the Oban area affected by homelessness, alcohol and drug addiction and mental health issues.The Recovery CafÃ© will be a three year project, to provide one to one support, peer support and sign post to specialist services. The cafÃ© will be open one day per week with two full time staff, and will include home visits, with assessments in the morning and activities in the afternoon.

This organisation is an outdoor creative play and performance organisation combining a forest school ethos with the creative arts. This group will use the funding to develop a business plan using action research. Two pilot project will be planned and delivered following the research phase of the project.
This group organise an annual family-friendly music festival on the Isle of Bute. They will use the funding to develop their volunteering programme.
