The organisation uses structured outdoor activities with horses to encourage people to discuss their feelings, behaviours and patterns. This is designed to help them engage with education or training, and find purpose and direction.

The organisation will use the funding to run a baby and toddlers group from birth to reception age. This will reduce social isolation of parents and carers with young children in the village.
Schools Education Project 08 Feb 2017
The project will work with theatre group Cap-a-Pie to deliver a programme of theatrical activities to local primary school children and a community performance exploring issues about asylum-seekers and refugees . This will offer volunteering opportunities for Syrian refugees, and promote understanding and acceptance of local immigrants and raise awareness of the benefits they bring to the community.

The project will purchase additional sensory equipment to extend their mobile sensory and baby massage sessions to a wider geographical area within the county. The project will reduce the isolation of new mothers at risk of postnatal depression, and help develop the mother and baby bonding process, and aid the development of babies.

The organisation will use the funding to redevelop their outdoor nursery play area including water and sand play areas, gardening space, canopy, and mound and tunnel. This will provide creative and educational activities for young children to help aid their development.

The project will deliver a pilot providing transport for people who are affected by cancer and require cancer treatment. They will provide secretarial support, social trips, and transport for vulnerable and isolated patients to come to the group's monthly meetings. This will provide them with a support network and aid their recovery.

The organisation will use the funding to renovate their newly acquired community hall. This will enable the organisation to accommodate community groups, school groups and other user groups in order to support community activities.

This funding will be used to set up and run a weekly youth club at the community centre for young people aged 11 to 15 in an area where there is very little alternative provision for younger teenagers. This will provide a safe environment for the participants to socialise with their peers and engage with the wider community, and help to divert them from anti-social behaviour.

The organisation will use the funding to run weight management, fitness and healthy eating activities for people within the local community, specifically those with mental health issues. This will improve the health and wellbeing of people who are socially isolated and those with poor mental health.
