Sailing into Lifeskills 30 May 2018
The funding will be used to deliver a life skills programme in partnership with the Tall Ships Youth Trust to support young homeless people to transition into adulthood. The project aims to provide bespoke support for the young people to help them live independently by improving their confidence, self-esteem, time-management, leadership, resilience and communication skills.

Funding will support the development of the hall so that it can continue as a vital village hub and expand its services to the community. These have included a community transport scheme, pop-up cafÃ© once a week, tai chi, sewing group, line dancing, parish council meetings, badminton, table tennis and is used in conjunction with the outside space for bootcamp, football, an annual 10k run, car boot sales and village festival.
