This project will provide preventative programs focusing on domestic violence in relation to teenage dating. This will improve the confidence of young women and allow them to plan their future and focus on reaching their full potential within school or college.
Bessie! - A Celebratory Community Opera 25 Aug 2016
The organisation will use the funding to deliver a community led opera and subsequent displays of photographs and projects celebrating the life of Bessie Coleman, an Afro-American girl who overcame obstacles to become a pilot. This will enable the organisation to bring the community together to show what can be achieved, via interactive participative activities.
