The organisation will use the funding to establish a choir for women who are single parents, older, isolated or otherwise vulnerable with social opportunities and singing tuition. This will enable the group to provide a social and creative activity to women at risk of ill health and poor wellbeing due to isolation, improving confidence, social opportunities and community engagement.
The organisation will use the funding to run a programme of summer activities for young people across five schools in Leeds. This will improve the physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and families within the community and will encourage the most vulnerable and disadvantaged families within the community to engage with others.

The organisation will use the funding to create a digital access hub at the local community centre by purchasing IT equipment and providing an IT tutor. This will enable the group to establish a work club and provide IT access and support for local people to help them access employment opportunities.

The project focuses on the needs of each woman through individual and group activities. They provide support to individuals looking at the root causes of their issues. Activities include a hot meal in a â€˜familyâ€™ environment, gardening, cinema visits, attending the nail bar and cooking. This project will also work with members of the local community to improve community relationships, develop their understanding of the issues of street sex workers in their area and provide volunteering opportunities.

The group will use funding to deliver a series of workshops and visits, focusing on the criminal justice system, for those who are at risk of, or have been involved in criminal activity. This will provide them with the knowledge to understand the system and dispel misconceptions, along with discovering the consequences of criminal activity, with the aim of improving relations with the police and reducing crime.

The organisation will increase the frequency of their current activity classes for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. This will provide additional classes to meet the needs of people with MS, aiming to improve muscle strength and fitness.
