Holiday activity sessions and healthy eating advice will be provided with this funding. The sessions will allow people to take part in exercise sessions during the school holidays, improving health and fitness.

This project will refurbish a community hall. This will enable the organisation to make wider use of the venue for community activities and events.
The group will use the funding to deliver fitness training for the community and to introduce a range of new junior teams. This will engage beneficiaries in activities designed to improve community fitness levels as a means of tackling obesity and reducing instances of anti social behaviour locally.
Bearwood Street Festival 11 Aug 2016
The organisation will use the funding to run a one day festival, providing the opportunity for the local community to come together and celebrate their creativity and diversity. The festival will celebrate new heritage related improvements to the local landscape, as well as Bearwoodâ€™s diverse musical heritage. Residents will be invited to engage in a treasure hunt, in arts based activities and in conversation cafes with those from different backgrounds.

This group will use the funding to run art and exercise activity sessions for older people, enabling participants to take part in activities which benefit their health and wellbeing.
Kingfisher Buddies 25 Jan 2017
The project, based on a previous older person befriending service carried out by Agewell, will identify and support people with memory problems and other cognitive impairments such as dementia. Post diagnosis support will be provided along with access to meaningful activities such as outings, exercise and luncheon clubs, enabling people with dementia to live well and be supported as their condition progresses.

The school will use the funding to purchase a range of outdoor activity equipment and provide an extra curricular outdoor activity club for children, families and the wider community. This will enable beneficiaries to share and broaden their experiences, learn new skills and strengthen community relationships.

The group will use the funding to deliver computer skills classes to adults and elderly people who are lacking skills that are required in everyday life. This will result in improved computer skills, improved employment prospects and reduced social isolation for these beneficiaries.
