The group will use the funding to coordinate volunteer led activities for isolated older residents in the community to support them to run their own self sustaining community groups. This will strengthen community sector capacity and reduce social isolation.

This funding will be used to develop a project equipping people in their 50s and 60s with the skills, information, networks, resilience and opportunities they need to enter later life with confidence and continue purposeful activity. This development grant will allow the group to set up a new community interest company to deliver the project and develop a detailed business plan.
The group will use the funding to provide cycle training for refugees that have received free bikes. This will allow beneficiaries to travel safely, improving their independence, access to services and integration within the community.
