Valuing Voices targets continuing professional development and learning (CPDL) for primary arts teachers and school leaders. Ksent will work in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University and arts practitioners from Confidance, Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company and Turner Contemporary. Through exploring dance, drama and visual arts, teachers and arts practitioners will collaborate, co-learn and co-construct the curriculum, to benefit schools, arts practitioners and pupils with profound and multiple disabilities. Valuing Voices aims to empower primary practitioners as arts leaders in their schools, to be confident, innovative and creative. The initiative seeks to build a sustainable model of CPDL and to impact the wider network of schools within the Trust.

Hastings Young People's Project 12 Mar 2018
The project involves refurbishment of four properties that make up BHT Young Peoples Service in Hastings. All 33 (31 existing/ 2 newly created) clients living in the properties (and their children in some cases) will benefit from the improvements, as will clients coming into the service in the future. The service comprises three houses of shared accommodation and one block of 12 self-contained flats for young people aged 16-25 who are care leavers or homeless. The refurbishment work will make the buildings fit for purpose, will create two new bed spaces, new IT and learning suites, a family play area, an outdoor space for health and wellbeing activities, improved communal areas and laundry and living facilities. All clients are allocated a dedicated support worker and are supported to engage in the Pathway to Independence programme which includes budgeting, work and learning and health and well being.
