The Rye Festival of the Sea organise a one day festival to celebrate the fantastic maritime element of Rye. A grant was provided to support the purchase of some health and safety equipment along with the hire of children's entertainment and stage and PA equipment for the live entertainment.

Rother Environmental Group encourages interest and awareness of environmental issues which effect Rother DC area and it's immediate environs. Funding was provided to help them build a small mobile Eco-show-home that could be set up in shopping centres, schools and community centres to raise awareness of energy saving techniques.

The Appreciation Society CIC produces projects that raise awareness, and build skills and knowledge towards sustainable and regenerative practices including community art projects and participatory events. Funding was provided for the costs involved in developing a community design project ‘A drop in the ocean’.
Grant to Friends at Blatch (FAB) 16 Mar 2018
FAB aim to ensure good communication between parents and teachers in the education of children at home and in Blatchington Mill school. Funding was provided to pay for the implementation of a new, Science, Technology, Engineering Art and Maths (STEAM) initiative. It will specifically pay for two school trips associated with the project and cover the cost of the materials used for the students to develop the innovative solutions the project challenges.

The 15th Brighton scout group provides a balanced programme of activities for its members. The scout group is fortunate to have a dedicated hut for use by Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as well as being rented to a few community groups. Funding was provided towards repairs to the roof.

Bramber Parish Council carry out the activities of a parish council for the area of Bramber. Funding was provided to support the creation of a new nature reserve at Bramber Brooks. This hidden pocket of land, part of the Adur floodplain, is blessed with rich biodiversity and is just yards from Bramber’s main street.

"Lightbulb" is a project that seeks to assist elderly, disabled or isolated people with a helping hand to perform practical tasks that they find difficult to perform themselves. Funding was provided to enable the group to develop their work into Moulsecoomb and Bevendean and will be used to cover project expenses.

The Enthum Foundation provide accommodation, access to education, immigration and therapeutic support to UASC; unaccompanied asylum seeking children (boys) aged 16-18. Funding was provided towards the start up core costs of their flagship residential home, Enthum House, opening in Eastbourne in July 2018.

Southdown Men in Sheds provides a safe, friendly workshop environment for older men to meet and engage in creative craft activities and encourages social inclusion in an informal way. Funding was provided towards rental and insurance costs as well as equipment.
Christians against poverty offer a high quality debt counselling service by visiting clients in their own homes. Funding was provided to enable them to expand the day to day work of the Centre, in particular funding the salaries of the two part-time debt coaches for the next three years of operation of the Centre.
