Funding was provided towards an outreach project to help the group reach some of the most deprived communities. This will cover the costs of workshops, performances and a project manager for the Long Nose Puppets project.

Working with local hospitals - primarily the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit - and respite centres and other specialist health services, projects focus on improving children’s emotional and physical well-being. Funding was provided for term time yoga sessions as well as school holiday music sessions and trips.

Reaching Families was established in 2008 by parent-carers to “...empower, inform and care for parents and families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in West Sussex. Funding was provided towards the delivery of their training programme from October 2017 - September 2018. The programme will involve the delivery of 24 three hour workshops on a wide variety of subjects to parents at various locations and venues across West Sussex.

Pippa’s Group runs a subsidised pre-school for children who are in need. The majority are at an economic disadvantage and/or have additional needs. Funding was provided towards the cost of a term-time weekly support group for parents/carers who have children with special educational needs. It will also pay for a 1-1 support worker for children with un-diagnosed disabilities/behavioural issues across the 10 x pre-school sessions that they run each week during term-time.

Petworth Community Garden was grown for the community by the community. They offer integrated and inclusive wheelchair accessible projects for all, particularly for low income, disabled or more isolated locals. Projects include, 'Learn and Grow' Organic gardening, 'Men's Shed' accessible rural crafts, 'Plot to Plate' and Children's wildlife gardening activities. Funding was provided towards the costs of running their "Men's Shed" project for 26 weeks.
