West and Central Voluntary Sector Network 17 Mar 2017
Provides support to voluntary sector organisations through participation in community planning processes; by providing capacity building and administrative support to the voluntary sector as well as being responsible for the delivery of the North West Capacity Building Programme.
The DRC Youth Poject works with socially excluded young people along the Dumbarton road corridor. A community development holistic approach is utilised that is person centred and responsive to the particular needs of todays young people. The focus is on areas such as health, alcohol/drug abuse, employability and territorial issues with an aim to provide an alternative to crime, addictions and unhealthy lifestyles.
Toward staffing costs to support the continuation and expansion of the C.H.E.E.S.E. Project, which provides heat surveys which enable local residents to reduce domestic heat loss in order to achieve warmer homes and a cooler planet.
To build raised planters to improve the appearance of the park whilst engaging the local community in the creation and maintenance of the same.
