Young Womens Group 14 Mar 2018

The project will offer weekly sessions for young women up to the age of 19 years old in the Sale Moor area. The sessions offer film nights, beauty nights, self defense, personal safety classes, body image sessions, sexual health sessions, and trips to the cinema, plays and shows quiz nights. The activities provide a platform for the young women to explore the world from their perspective, explore changes they would like to happen and develop strategies to affect change.

If they feel comfortable talking about it, the likelihood is they will share their knowledge with each other and their peers, they will also recognise the warning signs and it will flag up potential risky behaviour.
