The Friday Friends Community Club provides a lunch club for the Over 60's of Moulscoombe. Funding was provided for a community event celebrating the Queens 60th Reign, primarily for elderly residents.

Mindful Movement provides a weekly class of simple movement and breathing practices for all abilities including participants with difficult physical and/or mental health issues. Funding was provided to enable them to hire a bigger room to cope with demand.

The aims of Refugees Welcome - Crawley are to encourage a positive narrative about refugees in Crawley, to welcome Syrian people who are resettled in the town and to welcome refugees living in the town or passing through the town. Funding was provided to reimburse volunteers for petrol and for garden tools and compost, seeds and materials to make raised beds.
Winter allotment development project 12 Oct 2017
Nurture through Nature provide people living in food poverty with healthy fruit and vegetables. Funding was provided to enable them to continue providing people living in food poverty with a free lunch (prepared by Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project) made from fruit and veg grown at our Moulsecoomb allotment.
After School Adventurers - Fernee forest club 11 Jun 2018
Fernee forest club sessions link to the seasons and gently encourage learning about nature through having fun, inspiring curiosity and practical activities. Funding was provided to support after school forest club sessions for families in Bevendean.
Amaze provides information, advice and support to families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Sunflower Group is part of the AMAZE organisation and run monthly coffee mornings to serve the local community of Moulsecoomb and Whitehawk. Funding was provided for a summer outing for parent carers and their families.

FareShare Sussex ensures food that would otherwise be thrown away gets put to good use by community projects in deprived communities in Sussex and Surrey. Funding was provided to enable 10 x volunteers to complete their food safety level 2.

The Rye Wurlitzer Academy was formed to teach theatre organ techniques to students at Rye College on the Rye Wurlitzer theatre organ. Funding was provided towards the fees and travel costs of the Principal Tutor, Internationally acclaimed theatre organist Michael Wooldridge.

BECA CIC is the community association and tenants and residents association which represents those groups on the Bristol Estate in Brighton. Funding was provided towards re launching their baby and toddler group to help attract new members and set up additional sessions.

The Trust has provided a contrubutiontowards the core costs of the organisation as allocated by Maggie Baxter from the total of 5K gifted to her by the Trust to make grants to small charities working to tackle poverty and inequality in London. The Trust's offer to Maggie was in lieu of her work to produce 'River of Change', Reflections on 40 years at Trust for London, a 125th Anniversary publication.

Their aims include: Promoting Healthy Life Styles; Care for the Environment; Celebrating and Supporting All Abilities ; Accessibility to All; Offering A Place of Play, Learning and Training. Funding was provided to support vital running costs to help sustain their organisation and run their projects continuously.
Summer football fun 11 Jun 2018
Salaam FC are a volunteer-run football club for disadvantaged children (boys and girls, mostly refugees and migrants children). They have 57 members and run weekly free training, and enter 2 teams into the Sussex Sunday League. Funding was provided to help pay for 18 East Brighton children to attend sessions over 11 weeks in the summer.
Pots of Talent 17 Jul 2017
Pots of Talent is a small community pottery group whose members are all managing difficult life circumstances such as caring for others, dealing with mental and/or physical health problems and the accompanying financial restraints. Funding was provided towards room hire and tuition fees.

Barefoot Opera offers singing training at all levels from scratch to professional. Funding was provided towards supporting two professional workshop leaders to deliver 3 two hour drop-in sessions as part of their outreach work aimed at reaching those who would not normally have access to the arts.

Selsey Community Forum aims to enable residents to work together to discern local needs and find solutions to them. Funding was provided to pay the hire costs for a local facility one afternoon a week. This will provide a safe, pleasant space for social interaction in Selsey.
We provide, via a group of village volunteers, a range of services to the community within the Northiam village envelope. Our mission is to help those people in our catchment area, with one-off services, providing a wide range of small (non-trades jobs) which they cannot do for themselves. Funding was provided towards insurance and volunteer costs.
