Pyle Community Council will refurbish Heathbridge Miners Square which is located at the heart of the community and has fallen into disrepair. The project meets the Awards for All aim of improving the quality of life. This grant for £5,000 will fund refurbishment materials.

TThe project is to introduce structured activities and workshops, a peer mentoring programme and a pilot minibus service to the group's services for young people aged 10-19 from Pyle, Cornelly and Cefn Cribbwr areas.
KPC Youth Refurbishment 31 May 2012
Kenfig Hill, Pyle and Cornelly Youth will repair the flat roof of their portacabin where they provide a wide range of activities for young people and families which will prolong the life of the building. The project meets the Awards for All Aim of 'supporting community activity'. This grant for £5,000 will fund roofing repairs.
Totem Pole Project 15 Jun 2005
The group aim to improve the environment and make their estate a better place in which to live. They will use the award to create a wooden totem pole with residents and a community artist. The award will pay the costs of design and construction of the totem pole including design, materials, labour, artist time and a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Keeping Us Happy 01 Nov 2016
Neath, Port Talbot and Pyle Dance Club will use the grant to setup their organisation, designed to increase socialising opportunities for 40 members, the majority of whom are older people. This grant for Â£4,753 will fund a portable PA system, dance music discs, a laptop, venue hire, a short break, and two day trips.
They school will provide an after school rugby club. This grant will fund tackle bags, shields, training balls, a mesh ball bag, an agility cross ladder, agility hurdles, speed acceleration canes, agility poles, a super reactaball set, a reactaball value set, a Slalom pole set, a marker set, a marker pole set, a first aid kit, ice packs and rugby jerseys.
Newmilns Community Nature Site Project 01 Mar 2010
This group will develop an existing paths network which will provide a site for recreation and nature study for local people. The grant will pay for path resurfacing, motorcycle inhibitors, totem pole, granite benches, picnic bench, wooden paling and posts, timber, soil, plants, hedge trees, clearance costs and a wildlife interpretation panel.
The Flags on the Green 12 Aug 2009
The Community Council will purchase and install flag poles that will be part of a commemorative project to reflect Commonwealth history of the township. This grant will be used to buy 12 external halyard flagpoles, 3 flag poles with bases, delivery and installation costs.
