Trafford Veterans Allotment Project 13 Feb 2018
The project is a group based activity which will encourage people to get out and learn a new skill, grow vegetables and flowers, meet new people, be in the fresh air and hopefully get some exercise
Community Volunteers Training 04 Jun 2018
In order to support the volunteers to deliver best practise at their sessions and to ensure the participants receive a quality experience we are keen to support the volunteers to become trained in first aid.
Peace Sessions 06 Aug 2018
This project will be a theme throughout the year, building community cohesion, participation and positive change. This will happen through family based art sessions, our monthly meet ups, social media and bringing awareness of the needs of the community.
Winter Training 2018-2019 21 Aug 2018
During the winter period we are unable to use St Brides as a training venue due to the lack of floodlights and short daylight hours. This leaves the club with no alternative but hire alternative floodlit or sports hall venues.

This group will upgrade and modernise the village hall, ensuring a sustainable venue for community activities.
Drama Celebrations! 25 Years! 28 Feb 2018
This project will run weekly drama workshops for young people culminating in a show for the local community. The young people will create and perform in the show and through this will develop relationships with others in their community, building confidence and inter-personal skills. The final production will be a celebration event helping to bring together a diverse community.
Re-brand and relaunch of the Hawthorn Cafe 28 Feb 2018
This funding will provide a community café with new equipment, improving the venue and encouraging increased use by older people from the wider community.
Vulnerable Womens Group 07 Feb 2018
This project will run therapy sessions for refugees, enabling them to seek support regarding issues including domestic violence, which have an impact on their mental health.
Leiston Abbey Film Music Studio upgrade 21 Mar 2018
The organisation will use the funding to improve the facilities of the group and provide more opportunities for students, including those with additional needs and disabilities, to learn music.
Moving Better with Feldenkrais 07 Feb 2018
The group will provide Feldenkrais style therapy sessions for people with cerebral palsy. This will help them become more independent by improving their movement and reducing the pain they experience in everyday life.
The group will install a hearing loop, hand rail and tarmac path at their parish hall to improve safety and facilities. This will enable more local people and community groups, particularly older people and people with disabilities, to enjoy the activities and amenities.
Small Capital Project- New Windows 21 Feb 2018
The group will install new windows in their building, improving insulation and efficiency and making it a more comfortable, welcoming community facility for local people.
Dyspraxia Support Group for Parents and Children 26 Mar 2018
The organisation will run a new support group for parents and children under 12 years old who are affected by dyspraxia. This will provide advice and support on diagnosis of dyspraxia, social activities, creative and cooking workshops for children, and workshops for parents, with talks from experts and guest speakers.
West Berkshire Community Knowledge Event 14 Feb 2018
The project will run a one day event in partnership with the local council in order to raise awareness of the work of statutory, voluntary and community services in West Berkshire and promote partnership working.
This Parish Council will install defibrillators in two villages, enabling local people to receive emergency first aid in this rurally isolated area.
