Restoration and Development of Christ Church Huntly
Seeking funds to repair and rebuild their dedicated Land Rover Defender Ambulance, central to its life-saving work with live-stranded whales and dolphins in northeast Scotland. The vehicle is now 13 years old and extensive salt corrosion and resulted in urgent mechanical and structural work at this time, as well as the addition of new search lights, towing accessories and a veterinary box trailer.
This group from Rothienorman provides educational, social and recreational activities for children. Grant will allow the group to construct a new stage enabling them to organise and present productions and musicals for the benefit and enjoyment of the school and the local community. The grant will be used to purchase and install hall staging.
Turriff All Weather Pitch 26 May 2004
This project will build a synthetic turf pitch with floodlighting and fencing on the school playing fields at the Haughs, adjacent to Turriff Sports Centre. The pitch will support football and tennis and will enable hockey to be reintroduced into the school curriculum. A total of 1,540 people will benefit, made up of 520 pupils from Turriff Academy, 560 pupils from other schools and 460 from the wider community.
This group from Portlethen provides a public hall facility for the benefit of the local community. Grant will allow the group to upgrade their premises enabling them to provide a more comfortable environment and increase use of the hall by local groups. the grant will fund the installation of central heating system, pipeline and meter._x000B_

A Second World War Veteran from Stonehaven has been awarded a grant towards travel costs for a commemorative visit to Italy in October of this year. Funding has also been provided for a spouse to travel with the Veteran
This group advance the education of the children at Dunect school through fundraising, organising family events and providing support for extra-curricular activities. The grant will be used to purchase equipment for school productions, which bring the community together. The portable equipment will also be available for other local schools and groups to borrow. Grant will be used to purchase a demountable stage system, PA and amplifier._x000B_
