This charity based in Kirkcudbright aim to conserve local woodlands and reconnect people to local biodiversity through woodland management and crafts. The project will establish a new Forest School which will primarily aim to reduce social isolation and increase awareness of the natural environment amongst children in the local area.

This charity deliver drop in clinics, training and outreach service to a number of communities throughout Dumfries and Galloway. The group are volunteer led and the project will cover running costs and a volunteer co-ordinator post to support and supervise the 51 volunteers who deliver group services.

This project will enable the group to introduce a safety scheme for vulnerable people in the local community. The scheme is promoted by Police Scotland and involves the establishment of safe spaces in community venues.
This group will purchase four-wheel replacement carriages and a trailer to enhance carriage driving opportunities for people with disabilities.

This grant will be used to fund the first year of a three year project that will establish an outreach computing assistance programme that will be delivered in rural communities across Wigtownshire. The project will provide free access to digital skills training, and access to free internet and online services.
Buddies 26 Apr 2018
This group will create a cycling hub for adults with disabilities and will deliver life-long learning support for adults with disabilities. They will also support local immigrants who need informal help to better understand English. Activities will be delivered from Dumfries railway station buildings.
The Stove Network Limited 22 May 2018
This group will use the arts and creativity as tools to involve the local community in shaping the future of the town of Dumfries. Activities will include a mixture of open public events including the Nithraid River festival, community-programmed cinema, consultation events, skills training in creative industries and schools and college outreach based activities.
