They will use the funding to stage an event for adults who have experienced the effects of Meningitis. This will help people to receive support and advice regarding the issues which impact on their health and wellbeing.

This school will purchase outdoor furniture and play equipment, providing an early learning facility for children who attend their pre-school.
This funding will be used to expand the group’s dementia support activities into new areas across the city, improving more people’s wellbeing.
Supporting Children & Families Needs 31 May 2017
This is a project by a charity in Solihull, benefiting people in Birmingham. They will use the funding to provide support to vulnerable families, including ethnic minorities and newly arrived communities. This will allow families to engage with specialist agencies and professionals and gain greater understanding of family support, education and legal systems.
This group will use the funding to purchase new furniture for their community hall as the existing furniture is no longer fit for purpose. This will provide an improved facility for use by local community groups.
This funding will provide community drop in services for women affected by domestic violence, female genital mutilation and forced marriage, specifically from the black and minority ethnic community. Casework and additional support will also be funded to effectively address wider issues around their circumstances.

Computers, laptops, software, projectors, a television and an interactive smartboard will be purchased with this funding, so that the group can provide better technology training for people with learning disabilities. This will create new facilities for personal development and increase life chances in this community.
Soho Market Place 27 Sep 2017
This group will hold a community market on a derelict inner city site. This will improve this former community site and encourage the development of positive relationships between local people.
This project will build on the existing work of the Damascus Road Second Chance Prison and Community programme, which supports men who have been involved in the criminal justice system. It aims to reduce re-offending rates and improve community cohesion by working with these men and their families. A 24 month programme of support will prepare people for release, support them as they re-settle into community and family life, and help them to plan for the future.

This will engage children and their parents to strengthen their relationships, which will support the development of skills in communication, as well as physical skills.
