Social Inclusion Project for Deaf People 11 Dec 2014
To provide a range of specialist lifelong learning opportunities, reduce isolation and build the confidence of deaf people in Glasgow.
Families in Partnership (FIP) involves partnership working with social work, education, health and the voluntary sector to develop family learning. The projects are based in nurseries and primary schools. (48 establishments in total currently).
The Tackling Poverty Advisory Group chaired by the Leader of the Council comprises a range of organisations including community representatives from across the city. A key aspect of how this Group operates will be engaging with local community representatives to receive their input on the realities of poverty including the impact of welfare reform.
