The Mining Art Project 29 May 2017
Friends of Cymmer Afan Community Library in Neath Port Talbot will use the grant to run art therapy sessions with their local community to promote health and wellbeing through art. This grant for £718 will fund sessional worker, and art supplies.
The group will develop the garden area for the sheltered housing community. This will provide opportunities for residents to get out of their homes to exercise and socialise, which will reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
TRANSPORT COSTS FOR A WEEKEND AWAY 16 May 2018
The organisation will hire specialist transport to give members a weekend away so they can access social, relaxation and respite activities, improving their overall wellbeing.
Oasis ladies community training 04 Jul 2018
The project will run football coaching sessions to enable women from the local community to benefit from higher levels of training and learn more about the sport and the opportunities available to them.

The organisation will use the funding to purchase a potting shed to enable them to run an extracurricular gardening club for children aged between 4 years and 16 years with behavioural, emotional and mental health problems. This will aim to promote physical and mental wellbeing and ease the stress associated with behavioural, emotional and mental health issues.

Merched y Wawr Cangen Deudraeth, in Gwynedd, will take their members to Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery and Nant Gwrtheyrn, where members will be shown around both facilities and receive a presentation. The grant, of Â£512, is for transport costs, guest speaker fees and an evening meal
The group will use the funding to run an open day to support, educate and help those living with the effects of bowel disease. This will raise awareness of the disease and improve community cohesion by sharing experiences and learning together.
Cymmer Summer Celebration 12 Nov 2016
Friends of Cymmer Afan Community Library in Neath Port Talbot will use the grant to host a fun day to bring their community together to celebrate their 3 year anniversary. This grant for Â£600 will fund transport, entertainment, and workshop costs.
Hightown Community Centre 24 Jun 2015
The funding will be used to expand the community library facility and make sure it is accessible to the whole community, including audio books, higher seating and a projector and screen. This will better support older and visually impaired members of the community to use the facility and also enable the organisation to present guest talks to people in the local area.
Christmas Pantomime 05 Aug 2015
The organisation will use the funding to provide young people who are at risk of being or have been victims of sexual exploitation with a trip to see a pantomime during the Christmas school holidays. This will enable the group to provide a fun activity to children and young people with low self-esteem and confidence. Positive adult role models to help them recover from their experiences and engage with them through fun social activities to improve wellbeing and confidence.
