The project will purchase portable staging so they can continue to run their drama club for the local community.
The group will install a hearing loop, hand rail and tarmac path at their parish hall to improve safety and facilities. This will enable more local people and community groups, particularly older people and people with disabilities, to enjoy the activities and amenities.

Buffalo Community Centre Project 21 Jun 2018
The group will work with the most marginalised members of the local community in Blyth; helping them to play an active role in the delivery of services, activities and events and encouraging them to have greater involvement in the running of the community centre, delivering services together to ensure it meets the communities’ wants and needs. Volunteers involved previously have moved into training, other volunteering roles and secured employment as a result of the skills and confidence gained.
Beaconhill Community Play for Learning 09 May 2018
The school will install imaginative outdoor play facilities with safety surfacing within their grounds. This will improve the play facilities of the school, and provide play activities to help aid the development of a wider age range of children, and that community group can access and enjoy.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver a personal development programme of activities and workshops for adults with additional needs. This will help participants to develop skills, improve their confidence, life skills and independence.
The project will refurbish the outside of their community venue and repair severe damage to the stonework, gutters and fascias. This will improve safety and enable community groups and local people to continue to enjoy the activities and amenities of the venue.
The organisation will use the funding to replace doors, windows and frames that are no longer fit for purpose. This will improve the health and safety standards and heating of the building, and enable community groups including older and disabled people to continue to enjoy the amenities of the hall.

The project will provide workshops for young adults with learning and physical disabilities where they can develop skills in writing, illustrating and producing books. This will improve their confidence and independence, enable them to express their feelings through storytelling, and give them a platform to share their books and read their stories to local people.
Allendale Festival of Movement 10 Jun 2015
The organisation will use the funding to deliver a four day Summer festival of movement sessions, including arial work, circus skills, dance, yoga, pilates and parkour in local rural areas Allendale, Catton and Burnlaw. This will bring the community together in healthy activities, help reduce the isolation of families and young people from remote areas over the holiday period, with the group working with partner organisations to help make the activities more sustainable.
The organisation will use the funding to recruit peer mentors to work with recently arrived migrants to the Town. This will enable the beneficiaries to improve their language and IT skills, become familiar with local culture and integrate more easily into the wider community.
