Therapeutic gardening project 05 Jul 2017
The aims of Refugees Welcome - Crawley are to encourage a positive narrative about refugees in Crawley, to welcome Syrian people who are resettled in the town and to welcome refugees living in the town or passing through the town. Funding was provided to reimburse volunteers for petrol and for garden tools and compost, seeds and materials to make raised beds.
Grant to Autism Support and Awareness Promotion 05 Jul 2017
ASAP raise awareness about autism within black and minority ethnic communities, and provide mutual support and information to BME families with autistic children. Funding was provided to support 3 monthly gatherings of their members and a workshop on autism and relating to an autistic child.

BHFP helps people improve health, wellbeing and skills through food activities. Funding was provided to support three events for the local community at Saunders Park Edible Garden.
Speak Out East 12 Oct 2017
Brighton & Hove Speak Out supports adults with learning disabilities to speak up and be heard about the things that matter to them. Funding was provided to support activities and workshops at the Drop-In from Christmas through to Summer 2018.
Friday Drop In Sessions at Manor Gym 22 Feb 2018
Brighton Pebbles is a parent led charity for families with disabled children in Brighton & Hove. They are open to families affected by any disability but particularly those who find accessing mainstream activities difficult due to severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. Funding was provided to support a weekly drop in session for families with disabled children at the Manor Gym and specifically to pay for healthy snacks for the sessions.
Young People's Centre in Whitehawk 12 Oct 2017
Impact Initiatives currently run a youth club in Moulescoomb. Funding was provided to support a new session at the young peoples centre in Whitehhawk, providing resources and funds to bring in guest speakers/facilitators to run workshops for young people.
Moulsecoomb/Bevendean Sports and Health Festival 22 Feb 2018
The Trust for Developing Communities are responsible for Community development, training and consultation across Brighton and Hove. Developing capacity and skills of members of communities so they are better able to identify and help meet their needs. Funding was provided to support a free sports and health festival aimed at young people in Moulseccomb and Bevendean but also young people from other areas in Brighton and Hove.

Ashebo is a CIC based in Birmingham. They work with all ages and ethnicities by hosting diverse types of training opportunities. They would like £780 for a one-off event for women. They intend on creating more community cohesion.
Erdington Gymnastics Club is a registered CIO based in North Birmingham. They have request £918.59 to go towards equipment. The group endeavour to enable all members of the community to take part, and this equipment will allow those with disabilities join in.
Vibe Alive Youth Project 14 Jul 2017
Handsworth Carers Group is a voluntary community group based in Birmingham. They provide support for unpaid carers. They would like a grant of £950 to go towards the summer scheme for young carers. The group hope to provide rest bite and support for the young carers.
