This project will use funding to run carer support groups in GP surgeries. It will run dedicated carer clinics in each of the 44 surgeries across the county that will identify carers and raise awareness and offer support to them. Workshops will cover managing guilt, bereavement, loved ones entering residential/nursing care, when caring ends and employability. Early intervention and support aims to prevent breakdowns that carers can experience.
