Bellingham Middle School - Multi Use Games Area 26 Jul 2004
Northumberland County Council will create a floodlit multi-use games area and provide changing facilities and access for disabled users at the school. The new facility will be used primarily for netball, tennis and football and will provide a quality sports facility in the centre of a very rural district. The project will benefit 206 pupils from the school, 200 pupils from other schools and 400 users from the wider community.
Lynemouth First School - Multi Use Games Area 26 Jul 2004
Northumberland County Council will create a floodlit multi-use games area and improve the access and facilities for disabled users at the Castle Morpeth school. The new facility will be used for football, netball, basketball, tennis, cricket and rugby. It will help pupils and staff to improve their skills and standards and develop confidence and enthusiasm. The project will benefit 150 pupils from the school, 200 from other schools and 200 from the wider community.
Haydon Bridge High School (Northumberland LEA) 09 Jun 2005
The project aims to introduce a range of exciting sporting opportunities for young people. Pupils will be able to learn new skills and further their personal development. The project will target disaffected girls and boys, young people at risk of offending and youngsters with special needs. Activities include Outdoor and Adventurous Activities, Multi Skills, and dance for girls.

Blyth Valley Borough Council's play portfolio will reduce isolation by increasing access to play and widening the range of play activities available to children and young people. The portfolio will benefit 28,000 children currently experiencing barriers to play.
Play Rangers North and South 27 Nov 2007
Wansbeck District Council's play portfolio will invest in qualified people to complement recent investment in playgrounds and equipment. The portfolio will improve access to play opportunities for children of all backgrounds, enabling them to choose the content and intent of their play, free of charge, in high quality play environments. The portfolio of projects will benefit 6,000 children and young people, including travellers and those who are isolated due to rural location or disability.

This project will develop and expand upon existing volunteering infrastructure services throughout Northumberland to be delivered in partnership with Community Action Northumberland.The grant, over three years, will contribute towards the full-time post of four development workers. This youth-led project will use funding to purchase a second mobile unit so that it can expand its health information service into Wansbeck and increase the provision to include general advice as well. Young people will be able to access health advice and information from health professionals, self-testing for sexually transmitted infections, smoking cessation services, careers advice and the Internet.
Rural Youth Focus Project 10 Nov 2010
This project provides activities and services for young people aged between 12 to 20 years old living in the rural location of Rothbury and Coquetdale of Northumberland. The project provides a youth drop in service providing a range of advice, in an informal setting, on issues that affect young people including alcohol, sexual health, bullying, smoking, illegal drugs, employment rights, health and benefits information, as well as a range of scoal activities.

MIND Active will develop an existing service for older people facilitating activities that promote mental stimulation. The project currently brings social and wellbeing activities to residents of residential care homes to help them retain links with the community in a supportive and enabling environment.

This project, based in Hexham, Northumberland aims to provide training, employment and volunteering opportunities to people with learning and other disabilities in a rural/farming environment. The group liaises with landowners, farmers, local community groups to establish opportunities for work and training to ensure greater inclusion for disabled people in community life. Training is offered in animal husbandry, dry stone walling, fencing, hedge laying and other land based skills.
