Pathways to Employment 28 Mar 2019
We wish to provide a supported employment service for people with learning disabilities, autism/aspergers and/or mental health needs within Trafford whose needs are not being met by other organisations. Our job coach will support these individuals to develop self-confidence and employability skills and help them to find volunteer places, work experience and, ultimately, paid employment.
Volunteering for Success 27 Mar 2019
Over the last 18 months we have identified an increased demand in the need to offer work experience to volunteers who have additional and/or complex needs. We have been approached by a parent, colleges, an autistic charity and The Department of Work and Pensions who are very keen for us to help with giving volunteering opportunities to disabled adults and disabled young people about to leave college.
Longford Community Choir 25 Mar 2019
We meet every Friday night to rehearse songs to perform at various events. We use Firswood Community Centre as it is convenient and safe for our choir members and there isn't much going on in this part of Stretford. We need ink to enable us to photocopy words so that our choir members can sing.

Limelight Wellbeing Garden 21 Feb 2019
The project would involve the development of the Limelight Rooftop garden into a thriving community space providing a much-needed resource for tenants and local people to benefit from the social, economic, environmental and health benefits of food growing. We will take referrals from the GP and offer a social prescription service so people can get growing with us in the garden and meet others in the process.
BME Art therapy for Anxiety and Depression 11 Feb 2019
Psychotherapy Manchester CIC would like to create and facilitate a close BME art therapy group for Anxiety and Depression in Old Trafford, Bluesci Wellbeing centre. The aim is to run for the group for 10 months with a review after 5 months, twice per week for an hour and half as well as individual interventions for individuals who may have difficulties engaging in group therapies. Two months will be used for assessments and identification of the group participants. The group will provide a long-term safe, non-judgement art psychodynamic psychotherapy space where our clients could use art materials to express their feelings and thoughts which at times might be difficult for them to communicate verbally.
Studio 65 28 Jan 2019
We plan to set up a fully functioning and well equipped ceramics studio in a currently unused premise in Old Trafford. Neighbouring the Limelight building - a local community hub - the Manchester Ceramics Collective studio will provide a creative centre and work-space for local small ceramics producers. The building will provide employment opportunities for the owners of 10-12 new and emerging ceramics companies and provide a creative space that will be used to nurture engagement in ceramics and offer opportunities for the local community to see ceramics exhibitions and get involved in pottery workshops.

Our school delivers free Toddler Gym sessions each week during term time for all local families with pre-school children. We have 2 staff who share the delivery of these 1 hour sessions. Most of the equipment is over 10 years old and we want to use this funding to replace/update some of the items which are no longer fit for use.
